The 14-story building was developed by the Chetrits and contains 187 hotel rooms and 42 residential units. It opened in 2018. Elsewhere in the city, the Chetrit family is similarly in hot water.

Built from 1820 to 1825, the Elephant Hotel, at 335 Route 202, was named in honor of “Old Bet,” an elephant owned by entrepreneur Hachaliah Bailey, who founded one of the country's first circuses.
