Nestled in Saint-Gabriel-de-Valcartier, Quebec, just outside of Quebec City, is Hôtel de Glace, North America's only hotel made entirely of ice.

The Hôtel de Glace opens in phases. The hotel’s grand hall, chapel, ice bar, terrace, and hot tub and sauna area opened on Jan. 4, while more rooms and the ice workshop are set to open on Jan. 7.

Hôtel de Glace (Ice Hotel) is a must-see. The walls of this ephemeral hotel are made entirely of snow and ice using wood frames, which are removed once the ice has firmly set.
