“For the last few weeks, we have been celebrating the four themes of Advent: hope, peace, joy and love,” Boettger said. “Our Christmas sermon will focus on love.

Herein lies the paradox: Peace, joy and hope are often the products of struggles, climbs and difficulties. These things are often the prelude to seeing and experiencing glory.

And when they add this card to their display, how will it carry the hope, peace, joy and love of this season, unlike any other, into the brand-new year with all its beautiful possibilities?
