A woman has died in a fire at a caravan park. Emergency services were called to Highfield Grange Holiday Park in Clacton-on-Sea, Essex, at about 10:00 BST to reports a caravan was alight.

It happened at Highfield Grange Holiday Park in London Road, Clacton, and was reported just after 8pm. According to Essex County Fire and Rescue Service there were five caravans on fire.

Essex Fire Service and Essex Police rushed to Highfield Grange Holiday Park in Clacton shortly before 10am after reports that a caravan was ablaze. Police later confirmed a woman had died.
