Boasting some of the highest peaks in New England, the White Mountains offer some of the best yet most challenging hikes in the region.

NORTH WALPOLE, N.H. ( ABC22/FOX44) – A Vermont hiker was rescued from Fall Mountain Tuesday after sustaining a ‘heat-related injury’, according to New Hampshire’s Fish & Game Department.

Both people were instructed to shelter in place, as the trail was difficult and it would take multiple hours to reach them.
