Princess Haya of Jordan, embroiled in a bitter legal battle with her husband the ruler of Dubai, has received support from her brother in the form of a photo on Twitter.
Now aged 45, Haya, the daughter of the late King Hussein of Jordan, married her husband in 2004 and told AFP a year later that she believed Emirati women were "an example of a modern Muslim woman".
The princess, who is 46, studied Politics, Philosophy and Economics at Oxford University and is a keen equestrian, representing Jordan at the 2000 Olympics in Sydney.
Princess Haya, the half-sister of the King of Jordan, Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein, is Sheikh Mohammed’s sixth wife, and the pair have two children together.
