A boat fire near Hart Island forced nearly two dozen people into the water Saturday night. One person was in critical condition and another was charged with DWI, police in New York City said.
It happened just after 8 p.m. Saturday near the east end of Hart Island as Marine 4, an FDNY boat, was doing routine patrols in the Long Island Sound and Eastchester Bay.
