"We are an HP exclusive provider that has invested millions of dollars in our own demo center with $2.5 million in HP equipment and field engineers. It's a huge investment.

If HP was offering customers the option to buy firmware updates at, say, $10 a download, this wouldn't be such an issue. HP, however, has no apparent plans to give customers that option.
