H-E-B filed paperwork with the state for a new $21.2 million store in Converse outside of Loop 1604 and East I-10, according to a Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) filing.

The largest H-E-B in San Antonio is on Bandera Road and Loop 1604. At a whopping 182,000 square feet, the H-E-B Plus is more than twice the size of the adjacent H-E-B, which closed in 2012.
