The diameter of the bubble gum bubbles will be measured by an official Dubble Bubble Bubble Meter. Last year, the winning bubble diameter measured 18.5 inches, two times that of a soccer ball.

The West Texas Fair & Rodeo’s annual Bubble Gum Contest was Tuesday, held this time at Guitar Arena. Fifty people registered, divided into five classes ranging from 5 and under, to 21 and over.
