It could soon be time to put away your winter garb because Buckeye Chuck, Ohio’s very own groundhog, did not see his shadow. The famed Marion resident made an appearance on Sunday morning at about 7:40a.

Chuck saw cloudy skies and did not see his shadow early Sunday, meaning that we may have an early spring -- at least according to a centuries-old annual tradition in the U.S. Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow Sunday and predicted six more weeks of winter.
