According to the BBC, a museum spokesperson said it's considering the "next steps" to repair the American painter's 1960 abstract Grey, Orange on Maroon, No. 8 painting.
A huge painting by Mark Rothko, thought to be worth tens of millions of dollars, has been removed from display in a Dutch museum after it was damaged by a visiting child.
The abstract painting is estimated to be worth up to €50m (£42.5m), according to newspaper AD. "Conservation expertise has been sought in the Netherlands and abroad.
