Thanks to a congressional bill led by Representative Mike Thompson (CA-04), the Co-Chair of the Congressional Bike Caucus, Greg LeMond was awarded the Congressional Gold Medal.

Cycling legend Greg LeMond reflected on his career and legacy as an American competing in the sport's premier event, the Tour de France, which he won three times.
