A grass fire that sparked Thursday afternoon is threatening structures, the Sacramento Fire Department said. The fire was first reported around 2:20 p.m. at North 7th and North B streets.

GRASS VALLEY, Calif. — A nursing home caught fire Tuesday morning in Grass Valley, officials said. Fire crews were dispatched around 8 a.m. to the Crystal Ridge Care Center on Dorsey Drive.
