Sabrina Carpenter has hit back at backlash over the cover of her forthcoming album, Man's Best Friend. Newsweek reached out to Carpenter's representative via email for comment on Tuesday.

The day after Sabrina Carpenter released the suggestive cover for her new album "Man's Best Friend," she appeared on Rolling Stone's cover and addressed complaints she's too sexual.

But the singer has now broken cover and given an interview to The Sun, in which he reveals, amongst others things, that there’s a new Gorillaz album in the pipeline.
