ST. PAUL - The Minnesota Wild will be without their star forward Kirill Kaprizov for a good stretch of time. He missed practice on Tuesday after playing in the last three games.

A fifth-round pick (No. 135) for the Wild in the 2015 NHL Draft, Kaprizov has 358 points (169 goals, 189 assists) in 293 games. His starts have been pretty good in his NHL career.

Kaprizov has a full no-move clause, which also complicates matters and could affect a potential return. The good news for Wild fans is that it doesn’t seem like it’ll get that far.

Kaprizov is set to have surgery later this week then will be out a minimum of four weeks. The Wild's next game is the 22nd of February which is 25 days away.
