The Getty Villa Museum will reopen to the public on Friday following its temporary closure due to the Palisades Fire. This video aired on the KTLA 5 Morning News on June 23, 2025.
The museum is open with limited hours for now, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Fridays through Mondays. It’s free to visit, but advance reservations are required and there’s a $25 fee for parking, $15 after 3 pm.
The Getty Villa, which was closed since the Palisades fire encroached onto its property in January, reopened to the public on June 27. The museum will be limited to 500 reservations per day.
