Gervonta Davis has been cleared of his domestic violence charges by the Miami-Dade State Attorney's Office. Reports indicated that Davis was apprehended following an incident on June 15 where he allegedly assaulted his ex-girlfriend.

A misdemeanor battery case in South Florida against professional boxer Gervonta “Tank” Davis was dropped Tuesday, a month after his arrest on the domestic violence charge. The online docket for Miami-Dade County's clerk of court showed that the charge was dropped and the case closed.

As a result of this verdict, Gervonta is now free to focus on his boxing career for the time being. Of course, he was scheduled to face Lamont Roach on August 16, in a rematch of their March 1 title fight that ended up being a majority draw.
