Soap opera veteran Denise Alexander, best known as Lesley Webber on “General Hospital” and Susan Hunter Martin on “Days of Our Lives,” died on March 5. Her death has only now been revealed.

Prior to playing Dr. Lesley Williams, Alexander had made an appearance in General Hospital’s unaired 1962 pilot episode, as well as making an appearance in the short-term role of Lorna Hill in 1965.

Alexander starred on “General Hospital” on and off for almost 50 years. Lesley was killed in 1984 and then resurrected in 1996. Alexander’s last appearance on the soap was in 2021.
