Updated: Dec 25, 2024 / 10:29 AM EST GATLINBURG, Tenn. (WATE) — Gatlinburg held its annual Fantasy of Lights Christmas Parade on December 6, ringing in 49 years of festive tradition.
Dec. 6 – Gatlinburg Parkway– 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.– 49th Annual Fantasy of Lights Christmas Parade: This parade was nominated by USA Today’s 10Best as the best holiday parade in the country.
The parade immediately follows a grand illumination ceremony of the Gatlinburg Christmas Tree at 7:25 p.m. near Traffic Light No. 3. Colton Dixon is co-leading the parade with Emily Ann Roberts.

The 49 th Fantasy of Lights Christmas parade is 7:30-9 p.m. Dec. 6 through the middle of downtown Gatlinburg. Musical artists Emily Ann Roberts and Colton Dixon are the grand marshals this year.
This year’s parade theme is "Home for the Holidays." Fountain City Christmas Parade, 9 a.m. Dec. 21. Starting from the Gresham Middle School parking lot to Essary, ending at Central High School.
