At least one farmworker has died from injuries sustained during an immigration raid at a cannabis farm, according to the United Farm Workers union.

Immigration officials descended on a large Southern California cannabis grow house, prompting a multi-hour confrontation with protesters who blocked roads and faced off with federal agents.

Glass House Farms said on social media that it was visited Thursday by officials for Immigration and Customs Enforcement and “fully complied with agent search warrants.”
