A man arrested in Omaha, Nebraska, while traveling with a missing and pregnant Wisconsin teenager was extradited to Wisconsin on Wednesday to face charges of child abduction and child enticement.

Gary Day, the man accused of kidnapping a pregnant teen from Beaver Dam, pleaded not guilty in Dodge County court on Tuesday, July 15 to two counts of abduction and two counts of child enticement.

 According to an active Amber Alert out of Wisconsin:  Sophia Franklin was last seen at her residence at 9:00 PM on 2/2/2025. She is believed to be with Gary F. Day.

She was believed to be with Gary Day, the 40-year-old man who impregnated her. On Wednesday, April 2, police said the teenager and the man were found in Nebraska.

Sophia Franklin was last seen at her home in Beaver Dam Feb. 2. She's believed to be with 40-year-old Gary Day, the father of her unborn child.
