K UALA LUMPUR - Former Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad has been allowed to return home after being treated at the National Heart Institute (IJN) here since July 15.

Dr Mahathir has been in and out of hospitals over the past few years. He was last warded in IJN in January, where he was admitted for 53 days, for treatment of infection and observation.
