Galatasaray vs. Besiktas matchup stats Galatasaray is first in the Super Lig in goals scored (27 overall, 3.0 per game), and Besiktas is first in goals conceded (five overall, 0.6 per game).

Despite the hostile reception in the stadium, Galatasaray wasted no time in asserting their dominance, with Osimhen scoring a brace within the first 27 minutes to silence the home crowd.

The Galatasaray line-up is in and they have made just a single change to the team that Besiktas 2-1 at the weekend. Out wide, Roland Sallai has been replaced by Dries Mertens.

It may be early days, but their race is run. They aren't hauling Galatasaray back. Besiktas appointed Van Bronckhorst in the summer after the club finished a whopping 46 points off top last season.
