City officials approved the purchase of four Chevrolet Tahoes, five Ford Utility Interceptors and eight Dodge Durangos for the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety.
The 2024 model started at $47,165. Ford spokesman Said Deep said that vehicle is used by many police departments nationwide. The state police paid $39,600 for its Mach-E, spokesman Mike Shaw said.
