Flying Scotsman was the first locomotive of the newly formed London and North Eastern Railway (LNER) – built as a Class A1 locomotive in 1923 and converted to a Class A3 in 1947.
A spokesman for SVR said: "The world’s most famous steam locomotive 60103 ‘Flying Scotsman’ will be making a rare guest appearance at the Severn Valley Railway from Friday 25 – Sunday 27 July.
