The fire is believed to have started outside, and spread to the exterior of two homes. The interior of one of those homes was also reportedly damaged. One person was treated for minor smoke injuries.

On Friday afternoon, the Livingston County Emergency Management Agency and Chillicothe Fire Department announced that a burn ban is now in effect until 4 p.m. on Sunday.
