LA GRANGE, Texas (KXAN) — Heavy rains fell and continue to fall in Fayette County this week, causing road closures and disrupting school schedules in the area Wednesday.

As of 7 a.m. Wednesday, Fayette County had received anywhere from four to eight inches of rain in the previous 12 hours. The rain has continued throughout the day.
