SpaceX managed to snag both halves of a Falcon 9 rocket's falling payload fairing shortly after the successful launch of a South Korean military satellite from Florida yesterday (July 20).

The SpaceX Super Heavy booster for its fifth Starship launch attempt made a successful return to the landing site captured by the launch tower's "chopsticks" on Sunday, Oct. 13, 2024.

As the falling booster approached SpaceX's Texas facilities, it nailed a complex maneuver that had happened only once before. SpaceX successfully caught its Super Heavy booster for the second time.
