The event is called "Juneteenth: A Family Reunion" and celebrates black culture, black businesses and the emancipation of 1865. The event is host vendors, music performances and more.

The Alexandria Library is hosting a black family reunion in hopes of collecting documents and photos to fill gaps in documented history of the city's Black families.
