Until recently, I hadn't even heard of Eva Cassidy. I am ashamed to admit it but I know quite a bit about the young singer now. I even know Eva was born in Washington DC, February 1963.

Maryland singer Eva Cassidy died of cancer in 1996 at the age of 33. A new album, "I Can Only Be Me," showcases her voice backed by the London Symphony Orchestra.

If you are a fan of Eva Cassidy's, or simply are looking for some amazing acoustic folk with a voice that will leave you longing for more, I can't recommend picking up a copy of Simply Eva enough.
