The musical “Billy Elliot” comes to the Paramount Theatre in Aurora Feb. 7-March 24. It is being directed by Trent Stork, Paramount’s artistic producer and casting director.

Billy may be doing what he longs to do, but, like the raging young heroine of ”Girlfight,” he’s committing a highly threatening act of role reversal (i.e., acting like a ”poof”).

That was my feeling after seeing this new production of Billy Elliot at the Paramount Theatre. It runs through March 24. The book and lyrics were written by Lee Hall.
