Robert Ri'chard and Torrey DeVitto are among the stars who have signed up for roles in upcoming episodes of The Vampire Diaries. The show will return with new episodes on January 5 on The CW.

Joseph Morgan, who plays Klaus, said in December that he would love to see a battle between his character and Elijah. The Vampire Diaries airs on Thursdays at 8/7c on The CW.
