Staring down elimination, the Edmonton Oilers goaltending woes have reared their ugly head at the worst possible time as they face Game 6, down three-games-to-two, on the road, against the Florida Panthers in the 2025 NHL Stanley Cup Final.

Both teams get a longer breather ahead of Tuesday's Game 6, but the Oilers arguably need more time to top up the tank.

On that first goal from the face-off at center, Oilers defenseman Darnell Nurse was caught sleeping. Marchand jumped the face-off to get the puck and then he made a move to the outside and then came inside, but Nurse didn't move his feet until he was already over in the middle of the ice.
