CALISTOGA, Calif. -- The extra $600 per week in federal unemployment benefits is slated to end this week. And still there are thousands in California who haven't received any benefits at all.

A fake unemployment claim caused her disability payments to be stopped by the state. She contacted the EDD and was directed to the fraud hotline. "So I left a voicemail," she says.

The scheme sought more than $2 million in unemployment benefits, though Keyes was able to obtain $1.1 million in EDD funds, according to prosecutors.
