CINCINNATI -- For the second straight game, Reds pitching allowed 11 runs. Friday night, those 11 runs came from the Detroit Tigers, who beat the Reds 11-5 in the first of a three-game series.

While that stretch reached 25 straight games Tuesday at PNC Park, Bailey Falter was dominant and the offense did just enough to lift the Pirates to a 1-0 shutout over the Cincinnati Reds.

Bailey Falter gave up four hits and had five strikeouts through seven innings and the Pittsburgh Pirates ended a four-game losing streak with a 1-0 win over the Cincinnati Reds.
