DeWitt residents living near the Econo Lodge on Erie Boulevard brought their concerns about illegal activity at the hotel to the Town Board Monday night.

Officers say when they arrived, they found 20-year-old Alyssa Anne Maher, of Des Moines, with multiple traumatic injuries. Maher was rushed to the hospital in critical condition, where she died.
