Sarah and Andrew Wetenhall, founders of The Colony Hotel in Palm Beach, are the new owners of Hedges Inn bed-and-breakfast in East Hampton, where they've been welcomed with open arms.

In Palm Beach, the Wetenhalls have owned The Colony, at 155 Hammon Ave., since 2016. They paid a recorded $12 million for the hotel, which had been owned by the Wetenhall family in previous decades.

The eatery will occupy the East Hampton space that housed Sartiano’s at the historic Hedges Inn, after reopening at the Colony Hotel in Palm Beach.
