Airing on Friday, April 4 at 8 p.m. Eastern on PBS, Austin City Limits Celebrates 50 Years features ... Again The 60th Academy of Country Music Awards ceremony is just around the corner.

Austin, Texas, is known as the live music capital of the world, and "Austin City Limits" has been shining a light on emerging music in America known for 50 years and over 900 episodes.

It's home to the legendary "Austin City Limits" television series, which holds the title of the longest running music series in American television history. The theater seats more than 2,700 people.
