Dynamax forms of Latios and Latias are flying into Pokemon Go for a special Max Battle Weekend from July 26-27. The legendary Pokemon will appear as five-star Max Battle bosses throughout the event.

In Pokemon GO, Max Battles occur at special in-game locations called Power Spots. They function similarly to Raid Battles, where players face off against powerful Dynamax Bosses.

Dynamax Latias and Latios can also be Shiny, so players who encounter one after the Raid battle is over have a 100% chance to get them, as Shiny Raid Pokemon are a guaranteed catch.
