The warden of the prison reportedly told LaPorte County police he learned around 1:30 a.m. Friday the drone had been detected flying around the facility at 5501 S. County Road 1100 West.

Two men were arrested and charged after allegedly attempting to smuggle contraband into Indiana State Prison using a drone. Both men have been released on bond, one with a GPS monitor.
