Downtown Memphis will host a free Fourth of July celebration with fireworks over the Mississippi River. Several streets will be closed starting July 4 at 8 a.m. to accommodate the event.

On May 27, the Downtown Memphis Commission (DMC) announced its Downtown Brew Hop celebration. The week-long event will showcase nine Downtown Memphis craft breweries. The event runs June 9-15.
