The current Durango can tow up to 8,700 pounds if you order the SRT 392 or SRT Hellcat models, the former of which has a 6.4-liter V8 and the latter a supercharged 6.2-liter V8.

The Durango R/T packs a 5.7-liter V-8 engine that puts out 360 hp and 390 pounds-feet of torque, while the supercharged 6.2-liter V-8 propels the 710-hp Durango SRT Hellcat with 645 pounds-feet.

You can’t cancel the Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat, it seems. After cancelling its cancelation a couple of years back, the company has kept the Durango’s blown Hemi V-8 option alive—for now.

It’s not just the 6.2-liter and 6.4-liter variants of the Hemi that are going away. Dodge says the 5.7-liter Hemi will also depart from the Durango lineup when the 2024 calendar expires.
