STOCK IMAGE/Getty Images Cases of the new COVID-19 variant NB.1.8.1, a descendent of the Omicron variant, are on the rise in some parts of the world, according to the World Health Organization (WHO).

A study led by researchers at Brown University found that two popular text-to-image generators depict surgeons as white males 98 percent of the time.

But now the company is attempting a bigger leap — infusing its model with medical images such as X-rays and mammograms to help it communicate with doctors about data routinely used in patient care.
