Disney Infinity 3.0 expands value and features in its game creator Toy Box mode this year, not to mention two stand alone Toy Box games from big name developers.

Disney said the free-to-play app features all of the tools and enhanced features of Toy Box 2.0 from Disney Infinity (2.0 edition), where players can create their own characters and game worlds.

The Disney Infinity: Toy Box 2.0 app can be used be existing Disney Infinity players or newcomers alike, and will be available to download for free on the Apple store.

Everything that a player can do in Disney Infinity's Toy Box mode on consoles can be done on iPad, Disney said. The app will be out for iPad 2, 3, 4, and mini "very soon," Disney said.

Disney Infinity 2.0 Toy Box download is available on PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, and the Nintendo eShop for $29.99, with an introductory price of $19.99 on PSN & eShop.

Disney Originals Toy Box Game discs can be used to unlock customizable games in Toy Box 2.0. Each disc comes with its own pre-built games that will take the player immediately into the action.
