The board has the numbers "KGD98204A" printed on it and thats all. I don't see a swollen caps or leakage and no burn spots.

The performance of any tape depends to a large degree on the condition of your tape deck (proper head alignment, etc.) and the proper adjustment of bias.

As you'll soon see, it's helpful to order an extra 8' 2x6 and an extra deck board or two so I'd suggest adding that to the printed materials list. Build a practice deck ...
