The Palm Springs City Council on Thursday gave approval to explore restoration of the historic landscape at City Hall, designed by renowned mid-century landscape architect Garrett Eckbo.

As part of a statewide effort to conserve water, the Yuba City Council voted Tuesday to approve guidelines for a water-efficient landscaping rebate program for commercial and industrial properties.
