The Detroit municipal building was discovered damaged a day before prosecutors allege a man and woman hit the Guardian Building with a slingshot.

On Nov. 17, the statement said, the northbound travel lane of Grant Street closest to the City-County Building will be closed from 6:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. for crews to finish decorating the tree.
