CHULA VISTA, Calif. (FOX 5/KUSI) After several years of battling over a Chula Vista park, the city has finished the renaming of Discovery Park to the Kumeyaay Park of Chula Vista.

Chula Vista officials and Native American leaders will unveil a sign for the renamed Kumeyaay Park, the culmination of a long battle over the park and its former statue of Christopher Columbus.
