NEW YORK — Chuck Barris, whose game show empire included “The Dating Game,” “The Newlywed Game” and that infamous factory of cheese, “The Gong Show,” has died. He was 87.

Chuck has always been known for resorting to physical contortions trying to get in front of a TV camera, going back to his days in the Senate before he was their Leader.
